Nightlife has always been iconic in New York City. No one ever gets tired of talking about clubs like Studio 54 or Limelight. It’s such a hot topic that documentaries and even movies have centered around the glitz and glamor of it all. The cocktail list is created by Master Mixologist, Charlotte Voisey, who’s accolades include Best American Brand Ambassador and two times Golden Spirit Award winner at Tales of the Cocktail. The menu is broken down in 4 sections: Champagne Cocktails, Modern Twists on Classics, Drinks with Vibrant Colors, and Spirit- Free. The list is quite extensive so there is something for everyone. For those who are living their best Gossip Girl life, you can request bottle service, cocktail tray service, and tableside preparations. If you want to sit, get there a little early. Sure, it’s great to stand and be part of the action. To keep it real, if you are wearing heels, a seat is going to come in handy at some part of the night. It’s also great to sit and people watch. You never know who else is in the room. Don’t just take my word for it, check it out for yourself. It's a good choice if you are with girlfriends or a group of friends. It may be a bit too much stimulation for a first date if you are just getting to know someone. But then again, if you are both into the nightlife, it’s the perfect place to go.

This is an easy spell to help bring more traveling/journey into your life. Get your passport ready!
Magick tools needed: • A small hand held fan • Dish of fresh mint • A small light feather The fan should be a hand held, the kind that you wave. In other words an old school fan, like they use to do in churches or one of those cute Chinese fans. As for the feather, it should be small and light, kind of like the ones from a goose down pillow. When you are ready to conjure, breathe in the smell of mint. Breathe in slowly and take your time. Begin to visualize yourself in different places, seeing different landscapes, places you have always wanted to go. Toss the little feather in the air, and use the fan to blow it around the room. Try to keep it airborne as you see yourself visiting/moving new places in the near future. Eventually, let the feather land in the dish of mint, then take a few more sniffs of the mint to slowly close out of the ritual and bring your energy back in. Repeat this for the whole week, every morning (or night). Don't forget to put an intention into this spell, it is the most important ingredient. Blessed be! I've never been to Phoenix, but I've heard it's stunning. I've gotten essential oils from there due to the state having a healing touch. Recently, Visit Phoenix got in touch with time to let me know that the city is a good idea. I wouldn’t mind going to one of the spas, I mean really! I also would love to know what their wine and craft beer scene is like. On the first day of summer, it’s natural to think of any place, but the desert to go for a summer getaway. Like you are already hot, would the desert be fun? Visit Phoenix says there are many reasons it makes perfect sense to visit this summer—10 in fact!

Evening Outdoor Adventures Locals know there are amazing ways to experience the cool nights in the desert, such as botanical garden flashlight tours, moon rise tours of the Sonoran Desert, and glow kayaking on Tempe Town Lake Exciting Nightlife Greater Phoenix has its share of trendy lounges, nightclubs and casinos, but it also offers other types of colorful nightlife, from First Friday Art Walks downtown to Spark! After Dark concerts and art shows at Mesa Art Center. Or pair baseball and fireworks at half the price with the Arizona Diamondbacks’ Friday Night Fireworks games. Early Morning Flights One of the most magical ways to cool off in the desert is an early morning hot air balloon ride, followed by a chilled champagne toast over a gourmet breakfast. I’ve never done the hot air ballon thing, it could be fun. I would totally be for Champagne and a gourmet breakfast. Summer Spa Specials Pamper yourself with desert-inspired treatments. This would be a great reason to go to the city. We all could use a bit of spa in our lives. Imagine a fabulous facial and massage. Doesn’t that sound divine? If any of this sounds like your jam, for more reasons to visit this summer, go to www.visitphoenix.com Next time you visit Cincinnati and want to stay in a hip hotel, find you way to the 21c Museum Hotel. It’s the kind of hotel where that a museum lover would enjoy. There are art exhibits on the first two floors of the hotel to peruse at any time. The art varies from interesting art to WTF is that. Basically, like any museum. The staff at the front desk were a cast of characters. All friendly and full of personality. Everyone was ready to spring into action if needed. If I remember correctly, most of the staff that I spoke to was from the Cincy. The night I arrived at the 21c, I was exhausted at what felt like a long day of travel. All I wanted to do was order room service from the hotel’s restaurant, Metropole. I ordered the Roasted Aleppo Chicken with ramps, fava beans, thumbelina carrots, salsa verde with a glass of Pierre Delize Blanc de Blanc to wash it down. A simple yet comfort meal that would be my introduction to food in Cincy. I hit the foodie jackpot. The chicken was juicy and the sparkling wine from France was a hit on my palate. So far 21c had me sold. I have to also mention the wicked Breakfast Sandwich that I had at Metropole the next morning with eggs and bacon. Everything was so fresh. The restaurant makes it a point to work with sustainable farmers in the region. When I got tired from excursions during the trip, I enjoyed going back to the 21C to just chill. My room was totally cozy and peaceful. I took complete advantage of the big screen TV while laying the big fluffy bed. The mattress owned me and I loved every minute of it. There were plenty of cable channels to take advantage of with shows on demand. Who knew I would get so into the New Edition Story on BET? At the hotel are big yellow penguins that just kind of show up. There may be one in the elevator, by the front desk, or on your floor. If you want a penguin sent to your room, you can request one for a small fee. I had a penguin visit for the evening. I called him "Fernando" if only for one night. The hotel also offers workshops for artists and let’s not forget about the Drag Queen Brunch, okay! Feel free to bring your pet as long as it’s under 50 pounds. I saw the most adorable dog in the lobby for a few days that was having grand ‘ole time.
